The splendour and history of Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu mark 125 years of existence this year! 125 years between sea and mountains, where the peaceful charm of Charlevoix's nature is matched only by the elegance of the historic resort where a rich tradition of hospitality has welcomed visitors since 1899.
Since January, visitors have begun to immerse themselves in this anniversary year by exploring 125 Years of History in Exhibition Space, located in the corridor behind the reception. This exhibition, initially installed for the 120th anniversary, takes a turn in time in collaboration with Cité Mémoire Charlevoix by integrating augmented reality and short audio extracts on twelve paintings recounting the significant moments in the history of the Manoir.
Whether in front of the big 125 outside the hotel or next to historical figures in the entrance hall, every opportunity is good to immortalize unique moments and be part of history.
You’ll have the chance to enjoy a chair massage given by the massage therapists from the hotel’s renowned spa, Moment Spa.

A seasoned worker, he masterfully leads the expansion of the network across the province, reaching more than fifty establishments. At the same time, he restores the nobility of boxing in Quebec by acting as a promoter of major events. InterBox will remain a staple of boxing on the local and international scene for many years.
Always on the lookout for trends and wishing to give more momentum to the company, Jean Bédard surrounds himself with an experienced team and travels across North America to gain inspiration and reinvent his business model. In 2015, he launched the new concept of La Cage – Sports Brasserie, focusing on a quality menu, fresh and cooked with local products. To date, the results of this repositioning are undeniable and ensure the sustainability of the channel for years to come.
A passionate businessman, he is actively involved in promoting sport and accepted the presidency of the Quebec Games in 2005. Recognized for his expertise, Jean Bédard holds several leading positions within the Council of Quebec Restaurant Chains (CCRQ) and the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association (CRFA).
From 2006 to 2020, the Sportscene Group was part of the select group of Best Managed Companies in Canada, as a platinum member.
In June 2022, the Sportscene Group became the Grandio Group, of which Jean Bédard is President and CEO.
